Nominations for the following offices may be filed in-person at the Clerk’s Office at Ajax Town Hall (65 Harwood Ave. S.) until Thursday, September 9, during regular office hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, September 10:

. Mayor
. Regional Councillor
. Ward Councillor
. Trustee, Durham District School Board
. Trustee, Durham Catholic District School Board
. Trustee, Conseil Scolaire de District du Centre Sud-Ouest*
. Trustee, Conseil Scolaire de District Catholique Centre-Sud*

*Nominations for French School Board offices must be filed at City Clerk Services in the City of

Nomination forms and candidate packages are available from the Clerk’s Office at Town Hall or from www.townofajax.com/vote.

Along with a nomination paper, individuals must bring with them an acceptable form of identification as well as filing fee payable by cash, debit, certified cheque or money order. The filing fee for the office of Mayor is $200, and the fee for all other offices is $100. Individuals may not receive contributions or incur election related expenses prior to filing a nomination form. The term of office for the Council to be elected in the forthcoming election is from December, 2010 to November, 2014.
