The 2010 Town of Ajax voters' list will be made available for revision from September 7, 2010 through to voting day on October 25, 2010. During this time, electors will be able to visit www.townofajax.com/vote or call 905-619-2529, ext. VOTE (8683) in order to confirm that they are on the list. If they are not, they will be asked to complete a revision form which is downloadable from the election website as well as available for pick up at Town Hall. Voters can also pick up and submit a revision form during one of the following revision days:

Ajax Community Centre, 75 Centennial Road
Friday, Sept. 10, 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 11, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.

McLean Community Centre, 95 Magill Drive
Friday, Sept. 17, 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 18, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Although voters are able to add themselves or revise their information at a voting place during the advance voting period or on voting day, it is highly recommended that it be done in advance to avoid any unnecessary delays. All voters on the list prior to commencement of the voting period will receive a Voter Notification Card providing information about the election and advising them of where and when they can vote.

Would you like to remove a name?

There are several reasons why a person’s name should be removed from a municipality’s voter list, including:

• Moved to another municipality
• Deceased

Residents and former residents have from Sept. 7 to Sept. 10 to check the list and request to remove a name.
